TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

The School Board at Weatherford Christian School is aware that many families are affected by the rising cost of tuition. In an effort to make Christian education affordable to as many as possible, we are pleased to offer tuition assistance to those who qualify.  Tuition Assistance is offered to families who have students in 1st – 12th grade only.  It does not apply to Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten students.

We have enlisted the services of FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to help us evaluate requests for financial aid. FACTS works with nearly 5,000 educational institutions and over a million families each year. FACTS processes and recommends tuition assistance based on a thorough and professional financial needs assessment. FACTS provides third-party objectivity and will make a recommendation to the school who will, in turn, make the final decision regarding tuition assistance awards.

The Kaye Pugh Partners for Progress Fund is a tangible way for someone to support families that would otherwise not be able to afford their tuition. Donations are accepted all year long as well as a special call during our annual Gala. Funds are distributed to those approved for Financial Aid.

Do we qualify for financial aid?

  • Financial aid is available to qualified students in grades 1st through 12th grade; Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten are not eligible.

  • Total household income is less than $100,000

  • To be eligible to qualify for aid, your account must be in good standing with no outstanding balance.

  • Students who qualify and receive financial assistance must maintain a “C” or better average in each of their academic classes, have no failing grades in EACH grading period (Semester 1 and 2) and their conduct grades can not fall below Satisfactory. Failure to do so may result in a revocation of the student’s financial assistance at the discretion of the committee.

May I make a donation towards tuition?

  • A Donation can be made to the financial aid program “The Kaye Pugh Partners for Progress” – giving the financial aid committee the right to determine who qualifies and receives the aid, or

  • An Anonymous Payment can be made directly to a families FACTS account (not tax deductible)
