Dr. Jeff Foland is an equine veterinary surgeon from Weatherford, Texas, where he has lived with his wife since 1995.  In 2001, he was one of the founding partners of Weatherford Equine Equine Medical Center.  Dr. Foland has been the managing partner since its inception and has helped grow it from an equine hospital with 3 veterinarians and 6 total employees to a large regional referral center with 14 veterinarians and over 50 employees.  He and his wife, Jennifer also own Check Up Ranch, where they raise, train, and show cutting horses.

After growing up on a ranch in Wyoming, Jeff attended the University of Wyoming for 3 years before being admitted to the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  After receiving his DVM in 1987, he worked for 2 years in a large equine hospital in California before completing a three-year surgery residency and master’s degree at Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1994 and moved to Texas in 1995.

When Weatherford Christian School opened its doors in 2001, Dr. Foland’s oldest daughter was one of the students in the original 2nd grade class.  All 3 of his children have attended and graduated from WCS with the two youngest enrolled from preschool through 12th grade.

In 2008, Dr. Foland joined the WCS Board of Directors, and has served as the Board Chairman since 2013.  He and Jennifer were co-chairs of the original development committee when WCS raised funds for building the original classroom building and Greg Welch Gymnasium.  They have always had a deep belief in the value of Christian Education – both to the students who attend and to the community as a whole.  They have been members of Greenwood Baptist Church since 2008.  They consider this one of their biggest blessings to be closely involved with the growth and development of the mission of Weatherford Christian School.

Layne Fields is a respected local business owner with over 25 years of experience in the Parker County community. A graduate of Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Layne has been an invaluable member of the WCS Board for nearly a decade.

He is an active member of the Highway Church of Christ in Millsap, TX, and has been married for 28 years. Together, they have raised two children, both of whom are proud graduates of WCS.

Outside of his professional and community commitments, Layne enjoys spending time with his church family and taking quiet walks through the woods.

Troy Garvin has served on the Board of Weatherford Christian School for over 15 years. With more than 29 years of experience in the government IT sector, Troy currently works as an IT Senior Program Manager at the North Central Texas Council of Governments.

Troy is a committed member of North Side Baptist Church, where he has been involved with the church’s technology team since 1996. His community service extends to volunteering with organizations such as the Noon Lions Club, Center of Hope, and the Weatherford Police Department.

Troy’s passion for WCS comes from his deep Christian faith and the belief that a Christ-centered education equips students to become impactful leaders for God’s glory. He and his wife, Tracy, are proud parents of three daughters, all graduates of WCS, and grandparents to four grandchildren, two of whom are currently attending the school.

Alan Crawford, originally from Lubbock, Texas, has been a part of the Weatherford community for over 25 years. He is the President of Rangaire Manufacturing Company, a family-owned business that has been providing high-quality medicine cabinets and mirrors for decades. Alan holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from Texas Tech University.

Alan has been involved with Weatherford Christian School (WCS) since its early years. His wife, Linly, taught at WCS, and their children, Colton and Chelsea, are both graduates of the school. Alan’s faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of his life, and he strives to live by values of integrity, humility, and servant leadership.

In addition to his work at Rangaire, Alan has been an active member of the WCS Board, where he is passionate about supporting Christ-centered education. Outside of work, Alan enjoys spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters, who are a source of joy and inspiration.

Kali Jones, alongside her husband, Colt, is a proud parent of two Weatherford Christian School (WCS) students—Wyatt (11th grade) and Emerson (8th grade). Their family has been a part of the WCS community since Wyatt started kindergarten, and over the years, the school has become a second home for them.

Kali holds a Bachelor of Science in Development and Family Studies from the University of North Texas. She is the owner and operator of Cultivate Real Estate, a full-service brokerage and commercial appraisal firm. While she enjoys her professional work, Kali is passionate about serving her family, community, and the WCS family.

Throughout her time at WCS, Kali has volunteered in various capacities, including with the Parent Teacher Partnership and Gala Committee, and now serves as a board member. Her family is deeply committed to WCS for its Christ-centered education, and they are grateful for the friendships, faith-building experiences, and opportunities to serve that the school provides. The Jones family attends New River Fellowship Church, where they continue to grow in their walk with the Lord together.

Judy Flanagin has been a devoted leader and public servant in Parker County for many years, with a career rooted in legal, civic, and community service. She currently serves as President of Flanagin Management Co., Inc. and as District Director for State Senator Phil King, following nearly two decades in the same role for then-State Representative King.

Judy has represented elected officials at public events, coordinated outreach efforts, and played a key role in community engagement across North Texas. Her earlier career included work as a legal assistant and time in court administration.

She has served on the WCS Board since 2013 and also lends her leadership to numerous other boards, including Grace House Ministries, C.A.P. Ministries, and the Parker County Executive Association. Judy has held prominent roles in the Rotary Club of Weatherford and multiple civic and political organizations at the local, state, and national levels.

A long-time member of Greenwood Baptist Church, Judy has led women’s Bible studies and taught Sunday School for many years. Her life and leadership are firmly anchored in her Christian faith.

She was married to her late husband, Jay, for 44 years and treasures time spent with her “adopted” son and two grandsons. In her free time, Judy enjoys yard work, walking her pasture, and caring for her dogs and goldfish.
